Neave has hacked together a Flash version of the Google Maps viewer which also aggregates MSN Virtual Earth. The interface is much smoother to use. Till now it has no streetmaps included, but with the release of Flash 8 it shoul be no problem anymore...

See the worl in Flash here and read about at his blog.

The Revolution Will Be Geotagged

Matt's been developing Python code for his Nokia Series 60 phone so that it can save information as Google Earth KML files. He wants to collect GPS data via a Bluetooth GPS device (or potentially from a GPS enabled phone itself), then he'll convert it to KML; and then he'll email it anywhere he wants as an attachment using SMTP, so that email recipients can see where you are on Google Earth. Google Earth

"The combination of improved interface, better images, and tight integration makes Google Earth a blazing success."
Alles, was man bei NASA World Wind noch vermisst hatte. Ich bin gespannt!
